Two clinical trials evaluated the effectiveness of FASLODEX in comparison with ARIMIDEX® (anastrozole) Tablets in the treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone-responsive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer who had experienced a first recurrence or progression following antiestrogen therapy.

FASLODEX clinical study.  Overall survival in postmenopausal patients with hormone-responsive breast cancer experiencing first recurrence or progression following antiestrogen failure.

  • North American trial: median survival was 28.1 months with FASLODEX vs 30.4 months with ARIMIDEX (minimum follow-up: 14.6 months)7
  • European trial: median survival was 26.7 months with FASLODEX vs 24.5 months with ARIMIDEX (minimum follow up: 14.6 months)7
