FASLODEX Clinical Experience & Use Clinical Data: Objective Response Rates

Two clinical trials evaluated the effectiveness of FASLODEX in comparison with ARIMIDEX® (anastrozole) Tablets in the treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone-responsive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer who had experienced a first recurrence or progression following antiestrogen therapy.

  • North American trial: objective response rate was 17.0% with FASLODEX and 17.0% with ARIMIDEX7
  • European trial: objective response rate was 20.3% with FASLODEX and 14.9% with ARIMIDEX7
  • 24.3% of patients had stable disease for >6 months with either FASLODEX or ARIMIDEX1
