Administration
Adults (including the elderly): The recommended dose of FASLODEX 500 mg should be administered intramuscularly into the buttocks slowly (1-2 minutes per injection) as two 250-mg injections, one in each buttock, on days 1, 15, and 29 and then once monthly thereafter.1
FASLODEX is supplied in two prefilled syringes. Each syringe contains 250 mg/5 mL of FASLODEX solution.1

- Administer slowly, as FASLODEX is a viscous liquid1
- No calculation of body surface area is required—1 dose (500 mg) for all patients1
- A 250-mg dose is recommended in patients with moderate hepatic impairment
- Must be refrigerated at 2°C–8°C (36°F–46°F). Do not freeze1

FASLODEX is indicated for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women with disease
progression following antiestrogen therapy.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
FASLODEX is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug or to
any of its components. Hypersensitivity reactions, including urticaria and angioedema have been reported in association with FASLODEX.
